This is the last straw, the patch for the patch doesn't fix SHIT. Bungie I'm done with your horribly slow and crap attempt at fixing this.
I will be cancelling my preorder for RoI, and uninstall the game completely.
If you refuse to give a shit about your community, your CONSUMERS, then I refuse to support you at all.

I typed in rage, frustration, but tried one last time with hopes the patch worked. It has to a point, though I still get a "contacting Destiny server" message which never reared its ugly head before the patch. So yes I did bullshit out of rage, a reaction caused by days of no communication from Bungie on what was going on.

How can you tell that? Just curious.

Click the 3 dots at bottom of post and look at profile, it will tell you all a person's characters and last time logged in. Though I don't know how to to date it's refreshes are.

Looking at mine though they're spot on, so yeah he hasn't played since last night.
