What is wrong with some people playing this game?
What on Earth has gotten into people? Is this game so important that they have to lose it at the slightest issue?
Okay, so a bit of background.
We started playing an IB match on Frontier this morning. I was on a fireteam of six, against what looked to be randoms thrown together. We hammered them early on and gained a commanding lead. Four of their team then left, leaving just two players.
To their credit, instead of leaving they soldiered on, and played very well holding their own against us. The game ended 10120 or so against 7900 or so, so they had fared well.
In well-meaning good spirit I sent a mail to both saying that I was impressed that they held their own against a communicating team, and it was a good game. The one player didn't respond, but the other wrote back, "-blam!- u, you 're a Noob". We all went into the next game ensuring that his toon marked for special attention, and won again...!
Seriously, was this really called for? If I received a mail congratulating me on my play, I certainly wouldn't write back an offensive diatribe back. If anything, I'm not a Noob, I am a day six player, with a grimoire score only lacking in the Crucible, but even then I am certainly no Noob. My gamer score is also nearly double theirs. Funnily enough, their GT hasn't been added to the Bungie site and so I can't check their stats.
The player is the one with the more Hunnic gamertag. I say this so that the other - innocent - player doesn't take any rap for the offender.

2 RepliesLmao tell me about it, I had to leave after a wipe in a raid (i usually never leave until everyone else gives up). So I apologize to the randoms I was with and tell them I have to go (i actually had to leave) and once I left my friend (who was with me) says they were talking shit about me, even though they were the ones who sucked. Lmao I told my friend to tell them why (serious reason) and they were like he's a twat and stuff. I can handle critism especially on the Internet where everyone is Assholes to each other, but these guys really need to learn patience.

Lately it's all about Players complaining over everything, arguing over weapons and subclasses, and getting hate mails. it's all thanks to PVP and all its issues.

Man, there are some seriously idiotic people playing this game. I played 3 close games last night against a team we won one and they won two. I was beating this one guy in every 1v1 engagement we got into and it was obvious he started seeking me out. It was actually kinda funny because I kept killing him and knew he was probably getting irritated. After we left the last game he sends me a "you suck" message. Lol. I think my lowest k/d in those games was a 1.8 or something. Too funny. Clowns in this game just can't handle getting owned in 1v1 engagements.

10 Replies3 problems i see, first it was on frontier, second you had a full fireteam vs randoms, and third you sent a message to the losing players. No wonder they responded as they did.

I generally suck at PVP. I try to follow 2 rules. If i am not in a group I never pull heavy unless its so the other team wont get it. I never quit early. I may let my respawn timer run out....but that sometimes saves on me dying and giving them an extra 110 points.
