Not really bcs there is nothing that can be done if a 3 shot golden gun takes 2 to destroy your bubble and then 1 to destroy the people inside with the exploding perk and piercing golden gun that goes through one guardian and anyone behind him/her. You can't master a Titan when all the other supers destroy it and bubble can hardly defend against any of them. Remember year 1 when the razers edge or wtvr is called can be done from outside by a blade dancer and go through bubble and kill anyone inside. Mess. They keep making excuses as to why they need instead of buff, but the weakness of defender shows the flaw in any arguments they have.

Ok well a bubble full of people shouldn't be staring at a golden gun waiting to die, also I'd rather be the martyr of a GG and take it for the team, plus 3 shots to kill 1 person out of super. And GG is the easiest super to fun police. I agree that razors edge going through bubbles was absolutely awful, but that's not a problem we have anymore so there is no reason to complain about it. And as much as I love the safety of my bubble it should be able to be destroyed by supers, because literally every super can cancel out another super. It's also the only super that can buff your entire team. (Besides song of flame, which kinda sucks) defender is clearly made as a support class. Defender statistically under persons because it doesn't have an offensive super, which is ok.
