They're niche but they don't struggle with pvp. For some reason people think it's the defender's job to stay inside his super.

The chart hows they do struggle though, and therefore deserve a buff

The chart shows their lack of popularity not their lack of effectiveness. Were I to take a census of your country for people in homes, it would not be an accurate account of the total population because I have left out the homeless. An odd example but it's not a proper gauge of their performance [i]when[/i] they perform. Especially because most people enough people play Defender improperly to hinder a statistic.

You can show a YouTube to everyone and it's not going to transform them into TripleWreck and Krafty. There aren't enough Defender videos to outweigh the amount of content there are for other more flashier subclasses. You can show me the numbers all you want, it doesn't justify a class receiving a buff that doesn't need it. They're good in their pve role and they are good in pvp in the right hands. I feel that outside of people like Truevanguard, the people who are good at the subclass are not as vocal as people who go around calling each other Huntards, Warcocks, or Tittans or whatever they call each other.

Things is, stats do justify a buff. If bungie will nerf a class for having too high of a kd, it only makes sense to buff a class for having too low of a kd

You're missing the point imo. Bungie stated that chart is why hunters got the nerf, that being said, and following that same Bungie logic, defenders need a buff. Not to mention, the chart is run on percentages, the amount of players playing each class has little to do with the numbers. If anything, having a small amount of people who play defender in pvp would help judging by how many ace defenders that comment in this thread lol, but they are still at the bottom. So either someone's lying or a lot more play defender that are really really bad. #buffdefenders
