Look I dislike almost everything about Destiny's online community (The forums, Streamers, Youtubers, ect) So I'm very reluctant to post anywhere. I participated in the beta test, and I was so excited to play on day one. Now I've logged however many hours into this game suffered through meta after meta. All with out losing myself to them. I've mained a Defender since I hit level 15 on my Titan that first day. I'll stay on my Defender as long as Bungie will allow me. Nerf or Buff I don't care, it's my class. I'll just keep playing in the most fair way I can. But I personally believe they're in a good place right now. They reward a paced playstyle in the hellish forge that is the Crucible (might be why the K/d is so low on the chart) and really make you work for what you get. And I love that! I probably didn't need to type all this out and very few people will probably care but I needed to get it off my chest. Thank you if you took your time to listen to the ramblings of an almost 3 year old Defender. And make sure you guys pick up the orbs I probably did some cool stuff for those! tl;dr... Defenders are fine where they are please stop.

 • I recently switched back to warlock for awhile but I used to run defender titan all the time. And yes, while I'm not the best in the crucible, if you do what you said (nice and steady pace, support when you're needed, don't be too aggressive, then it's pretty rewarding. I mean the super is a support super, it's not meant to be beast mode kill everything...then again, weapons of light, sniper rifles, sword hilt...now you're talking about having fun...

 • Stats show otherwise. If bungie will nerf a class for having to high of a kd, then they are obligated to buff a class for having too low of a kd

 • They aren't "obligated" to do anything. But even if the do buff Defender it's not the class's fault that the K/d is lower than average it's the players. Defender belongs far from the Crucible it's kills aren't free and most people can't seem to adapt to that.

 • The probability that its the fault of the players over the class having a imbalance is astronomically low.

 • I seem to do far better that the average all without taking part of any meta. Look you're probably right in most cases but not here. It's just a case of the class being misplayed.

 • Then its on bungie still for not helping the class be played to its full potential. Either way, stats show defender is behind, and therefore needs buffs
also, wth do you have against a class being buffed!
• This is why I dislike the Destiny's online community, it's never the players fault it's always Bungie's. Every single time. Why do players need help to figure out how to play the class? I figured it out at a glance. It's not Bungie's fault that everyone seems to need a Youtuber or a twitch streamer to tell them how to play a game. And I'm against a buff because from where I stand as a career Defender main, it's not needed and I'd rather Bungie spend their time on something actually worthwhile.

 • You are incorrect. A buff is needed, as stats prove. Defender is underperforming, and needs to be brought up to par to be competitive

 • The class isn't responsible for getting the kills the player is. So a majority of the players playing Defender don't seem to have good enough gunskill to compete. This isn't the class's issue as much as you seem to want to make it one.
