I agree in some ways however as a lower tier player myself I would rather not have sbmm. I enjoy playing crucible with my friends who are much better players than me. This usually means I am matched against players who are much better than me. Getting stomped one game after another really isn't much fun. It basically means that I don't play crucible with my friends. Which means I rarely play crucible. When I play on my own I am matched against players with a similar k/d and I quite often have a positive k/d ratio. But you know what. I actually want to play with my friends, against good connections with random opponents. I don't want to have to give up playing with my friends just because bungie wants to make every match a try hard match.
