I really like the one about flipping the spawns between rounds in trials and elimination.

I don't see how that nullifies tactical play. Each spawn has its own strat and in a map like burning shrine it's bullshit when you have the same spawn every time. I Shit you not I played like 6 cards before I ever got the outside spawn last time it was burning shrine.

There are god spawns and bad spawns. In order to git gud with the bad spawns you must play them. It's a learning curve

I still don't get your reasoning. If the spawn rotates per round you still have to play both sides. So you would just need to adjust per round rather than per game. If anything it would take more strategy not less since things would be changing more often than not
