And if two people in the same country had a connection to someone on the other side of the planet, the one with the best internet would have the lowest ping and the least lag. I love how your only argument is a worst case scenario, and I'm the troll! Keep insulting me though, I'm sure it helps prove your point that I'm the troll. Funny how I've not resorted to childish insults even once, yet you can't utter a sentence without them. Pretty obvious who the child is here.

  • Increasing your bandwidth does NOT reduce your ping/latency.

  • hey look at that, you managed it without being a childish, name calling brat, I'm almost impressed, almost. So you're saying that when I recently improved my internet my ping didn't get better? Because it did. I went from 50ms to 10ms.

  • Going from copper to fibre can lower your ping. Upgrading from 100/20 to 500/300 probably wont... and even if it did, it was be so miniscule that you wont notice it But were not talking about local pings, were talking about international matchmaking. No matter how fast your speeds are, no matter how low your ping is(locally) you will lag internationally. Your ping goes up the further you have to send it... why cant you comprehend that?

  • I know, but it goes up less when you have good internet. That's an immutable fact, though I'm starting to see that you don't like facts.

  • Do a speedtest like i suggested and set the server to one in another country. I guarantee your ping will be absoute garbage. If you're playing people in another country your ping will be at least 150- upwards to 800 depending how far away/ how bad their internet is and in an FPS game 150ms lag is life or death. Even at 150 thats pretty much unplayable unless your opponents are potatoes. Anything over 300 and i would not even stay in the game.

  • I can't as I haven't got access to my old internet speeds, which I'd need for a complete and fair test. And I know your ping goes up, I said that already, it will go up less with great internet. I'm getting bored of you not understanding.
