Are people really complaining about the Mercy rule? Do you not want matches that you are losing to end quicker, so that you can move to a chance at winning the next one? One thing I hated about control was being stuck in a losing match for way too long. I personally think Rift is a great change. The only thing that it'll suffer from will be, players not going for the objective, and then players who play rift for the kills.
