Rift in the Iron Banner? Your thoughts.
I really enjoyed Control as a playlist but as other people have complained, people tend to not play the control points. I think Rift will definitely be a better choice for this Iron Banner. What do you guys think?

I'm down. Got sick of playing control a long time ago. They will have to reinvent the daily and weekly IB quest. Lest go.

I'm happy to see variety, I think they should rotate all game modes throughout the entire week of Iron Banner! Make it a week long event where every day has something new!!

Id rather have rift then control. At least retards on your team cant flip your good spawn in rift.

As a solo Iron Banner...hell...DESTINY player I feel this is going to suck.

Maybe if I didn't watch so much planet destiny I would not feel hyped for rift. Maybe thry brainwashed me. Maybe I'd hsve gone eh rift if not but I wouldn't be like raging mad over it. Rift is mad sweaty tho lol.. I can never top score rift tho bc I don't like being runner tho I always follow our rynner around. Where's the unsung hero love for rift? :p I feel like no matter what tho ppl woulda been salty.

Are you the real mighty master? The one who destroyed shesmynerd back in year one trials? If so, dang. I think that this weeks iron banner is not going to be pleasant at all, especially with the lag. I can see it now, as solo players are doing all they can to escape the spawn traps, he comes. The laggiest person on the enemy team comes in with the spark.

It's probably the best 6v6 mode because of its team work needed. I think it will be fun

I like control alot. I didnt't like clash... I just don't think I can do that over and over for a week. Objectives is what made for exciting gameplay. I think Rift is generally under-exposed. I would welcome the Iron Banner Rift experience; I will be playing it all week next week. It will give Rift more exposure I think, and hopefully lead more people to both like, and understand the mechanics and strategies to use in winning those kind of games.

1 ReplyAre people really complaining about the Mercy rule? Do you not want matches that you are losing to end quicker, so that you can move to a chance at winning the next one? One thing I hated about control was being stuck in a losing match for way too long. I personally think Rift is a great change. The only thing that it'll suffer from will be, players not going for the objective, and then players who play rift for the kills.

Mmm. I only won like 1 out of every 5-6 matches last time on control queuing solo. I expect to maybe win 1 out of 12 or so on rift, but I'm going to try because I would like a scout rifle.
