I think it's unfair to say that I don't "have morals" because I enjoy playing Destiny with my best friend and cousin who I have little to no contact with in real life. I've said it before about guys like you, you have absolutely no respect for people with differing opinions or thoughts. So much so that you are now asserting that we are of lesser character...
I get it, you don't like Destiny, you haven't given up the fight for the value you expected in year 1... But I'm not on that tip. I understand that there are other games that me and my cousin could play that perhaps, you would consider worthy, but I find the cooperative aspect of Destiny very enjoyable. I refuse to be labeled as a fool because I'm not interested in your political crusade.
Hint, you want to make a difference... Do it with your dollar and inattention. There are literally people with no talent made famous daily due to infamy. Every time you buy, think, write, or speak about Destiny, you are contributing.
However, if you feel the need to Continue playing and want to give feedback on the game. I say more power to you in expressing your thoughts. You are most certainly well written. Good feedback would most optimally be about the game, as opposed to the people who play it. I hope you can understand.

First off, I didn't say that anyone "don't "have morals" because I enjoy playing Destiny," My entire post was about people that would post "Its only a game." They are the ones that I have a gripe with, and I would debate anyone about their morals and ethics of saying that in the forums. I have played Destiny and for the majority of the first year, I enjoyed it. Yes I've had gripes about things, but most of my gripes where about how Bungie was treating the fine people here on the forums, and Bungies super hyped marketing. As far as your " guys like you" statment, I was not attacking anyone personally, unlike you are attacking me with that statement. Furthermore, if you would search through my postings, you would find that I have had many debates with people on their thoughts and have not condemned them for their opinion; in fact I have thanked the ones that would have civility when debating with me, and even when I couldn't change their opinion or they change mine, I have never condemned them, nor put them down. Yet I do have problems with people that are not willing to keep things civil, and, at least, accept that not everybody will be able to agree with all points of view. Now as far as your "I get it, you don't like Destiny:" you are completely wrong! I don;t like how Bungie is doing business. I have a big problem with their ethics, morals and principals. Your continuation of that states "you haven't given up the fight for the value you expected in year 1" is only partly correct, as I have not given up the fight and do not think anyone should. You should always fight to the end when it is dealing with ethics, morals and principles. Those that give up a fight dealing with these things are giving up on their own. Moreover, I would totally agree with your statement " I find the cooperative aspect of Destiny very enjoyable" as I have too. I do believe it could be improved and have given my advice on ways that could improve that aspect. I am sorry that you think that I was trying to label you as a fool, unless you have used the term "its only a game." If you have, then I guess I was calling you a fool; but since I do not really know you, nor anyone else that has used that term, you shouldn't take it personal, you should take it as the way I meant it - which was don't be a fool and use such a term, when others do care able principles and morals about anything that they have becomed involved with participation. Your "hint" is not really anything new, and while I understands what you are trying to say, I have already done that and have not given Bungie any more of my money since the Full DLC pack that they sold that included everything for the first year. I won't be giving them any more of my money either, unless they change their policies and firmly plant good principals into their services. As far as price, where many complained, I did too, but would have still purchased TTK had they showed that they actually cared for their customers and had better ethics. Whereas your statement " Every time you buy, think, write, or speak about Destiny, you are contributing" does bring about thoughts of a lessor quality, as "thinking, writing or speaking" about Destiny does not necessarily mean that you are "contributing" to them; but to a certain point, it does, yet most likely it would be more probable that it would be counteracting (or counteractive) to Bungies benefit. Lastly, to your closing statement, go and enjoy! I don't have any problem with someone that likes the game, as it does have some nice qualities. All I say is be weary of their [Bungies] marketing tactics. Thank you for your input.

Edited by Synge_X: 1/8/2016 4:40:00 AMThank you for your thoughtful and tempered response. Although it is not my crusade, I would never trivialize what someone feels is important and it is not my place to judge the sincerity of one's resolve. In simpler terms, my retort to any criticism, or characterization of the community's feelings would never be "it's just a game". We both know statements like this are a mental shortcut. While not necessarily in this case, I may point out something that I see as inaccurate in favor of hyperbole, especially when it borderlines melodrama(or a bad/ irresponsible comparison EX: Bungie = -godwinslaw!- Germany). I don't think these kind of arguments are needed to make the fairly obvious point that Bungie has grossly mishandled this game, as well as its community. But understand, I would only be calling out the inaccuracy, not the sentiment. I digress... As for my "guys like you" comment... It was wrong and came out of my general misunderstanding of "who" you were aiming at. So I apologize. Good evening!
