• "And wanting a game to be better and pushing for a company to take responsibility for their misdeeds would suggest the person in question does in fact care about it. If I just flatout hated the game entirely I would've sold my 360 version of it and deleted the characters I invested all that time and effort into."

So then you liked the game? This Bungie that we see here is not the same Bungie. They hired on a lot of new developers, and they are working together for a first time. Yes some old developers (maybe half - not sure the exact numbers) are still there, but a large portion was mostly new or never worked together. They have an excuse man why the game was not complete finished game. Please name me a perfect game and I will find something wrong with it. There is no such thing. You are asking for something thats unrealistic man. The fact that the game was as good as it was, and not a total failure was testament of their skill. They basically had to redo the entire game when their lead writer left. They had some type of internal power struggle between Activision controller management and the veteran crew. When that kind of stuff happens, projects get delayed and even cancelled. The fact the game was playable and in the current state which was good enough for release. And many enjoyed it. If they would have delayed another year to include all of the things they wanted to include, it wouldn't have been a financially successful as it was. The graphics engine was beautiful but was already showing its age. Another year would have put the game far behind. Yes they made mistakes, but if you were there you would probably understand a little bit better that it was not one thing that went wrong but multiple, and the fact that they were able to make something out of it, I give them props for that. Stop criticizing dude. Its easy to criticize something you were not part of in making. Its easy to tear it apart after the fact. You have characters and you played it, and you enjoyed it. Now that the game isn't fun anymore, move on to something else. And jump back if they add something new. But these constant posts about what they did wrong are pointless. They know already.

Dude look at Fallout 4 and Halo 5. How hyped they were that it would be better. Now you have people saying how they even worse. Everyone can have opinions man. You don't really know what goes into making a game of this magnitude. I mean you can speculate. But until you have actually worked on a project like this you cannot know what types of issues they ran into, what they had to sacrifice in terms of scale to make the engine work. You don't know what tools they had or worked with, and what were the limitations. You don't know what the public will like. Yes you can make studies, and public tests. But you just don't know. You can only guess. The only thing you do know is that it has to succeed and make money for you to pay your developers. And I think on that level it was successful. Yes it got boring after a while. So do other games. I don't think there is a game out there that is timeless. Maybe Final Fantasy, maybe Skyrim. But even those games get boring after a while. But Destiny really was a decent game. And had least amount of gamebreaking bugs that I ever experienced in this type of game. Have you ever played a game where shit just wasn't playable, and your progress was set back. That kind of shit didn't happen in Destiny. The game was mostly playable, and the gunplay was fun. If you just judge Destiny on itself, instead of how hyped they made the marketing, it would be a decent game. Its in how you look at things.
Dude look at Fallout 4 and Halo 5. How hyped they were that it would be better. Now you have people saying how they even worse.
I have never seen a single person say Destiny is flatout better than either Fallout 4 or Halo 5, and if someone is actually saying such nonsense then that quite clearly shows what such a poor judge of games they are. Honestly, if that's how they really feel about it then I would much rather they remain isolated in Destiny to prevent their screwed up views or ideas from spreading to anything else.
If you just judge Destiny on itself, instead of how hyped they made the marketing, it would be a decent game.
Dude, that hasn't been a thing since 2014, get with it already. The vast majority of all the issues and complaints with the game have absolutely nothing to do with the hype and false advertisement that was really just a drop in the bucket when compared to all the other crap that's gone wrong with Destiny.
Its in how you look at things.
You know who says things like that? People who don't want to admit when they're wrong. =P Now as fun as this has been, you aren't exactly important enough to warrant anymore of my attention. So feel free to give your final response and we'll end things there.

I still believe in everything i say. When judged on its own merits Destiny is one of the better games currently on the market. Its not open world shooter and it is by no means a game with unlimited replay value, but the good times i had in Destiny were some of the most fun i ever had in any video game, and i have played all the greats from the time of The first PC games revolution of the early 90s to now. Maybe due to the fact that it was enjoyable playing with other people, doing raids then jumping into trials and crucible with the same people, that some single player games like Fallout lack regardless of how much better the single story was it will never have those moments you can share with a team of friends. Agree to disagree
