[BUNGIE] Sparrow Racing League Vital Information
With Patch 2.1.0, [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/pub/sparrowracing]Sparrow Racing League[/url] is available to all Destiny: The Taken King Players.
This event introduces the new PvP activity Sparrow Racing and the new Sparrow Horn item type. It also includes new Sparrows, Gear sets, Quests, and [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=14062]new items in Eververse Trading Co[/url]. The Sparrow Racing themed activities, Quests, and non-Legendary quality Sparrow Horns will no longer be available after the event concludes on December 29th.

Please Note:
•Players must have Destiny: The Taken King and be at least Level 5 to participate in the Sparrow Racing League activity.
•Rare quality Sparrow Horns will become unusable after the Sparrow Racing League event ends, but will not be removed from player's Inventories. Players can manually discard these items from their Inventory.
•Legendary Sparrow Horns will remain useable after the Sparrow Racing League event ends.
•Sparrow Racing League Quests and Bounties cannot be completed after the event ends. Bounties can be discarded from the player Inventory and Quests can be sent to the Abandoned Quest kiosk.
Please note: The Sony Console Exclusive Quest “With Finesse and Speed” can be completed after the event ends.
• Please ensure that the active character has ample Gear slots, Inventory space, or Postmaster space before opening Sparrow Racing League packages, such as the Racer’s Toolkit faction package, or the Mystery Bag items purchased from Eververse Trading Co., such as Sparrow Toolkits.
• Bungie is aware that players using Hair Trigger features on controllers are not able to initiate a full Sparrow boost. If possible, please disable this feature.
• Excluding the default "Happy Horn", Sparrow Horns cannot be re-acquired through Collections or through Eververse Trading Co. if dismantled. Please use caution when dismantling items, as they cannot be replaced.

8 RepliesI opened my legendary sparrow kit from completing the quest and I ddnt get anything!!!! My post man was full bt I had room for sparrows. Can anyone please help me kuz I'm jst about to quit destiny for another good while!!

Bungie, i'm pretty sure a lot of us guardians are a bit frustrated that it clearly said on the srl quest lines that we could recieve a legendary sparrow upon completion yet if we already did it on one character, we got legendary horns on our others... I for one was going through the quest on my second character until my friend told me you could only get a legendary horn... This was infuriating... If you want to make us happy, maybe you should make it so we all have a chance at those nice elemental (arc, solar, void) sparrows instead of giving us a shitty one from your rng system

I've completed all of the requirements in the book but still says 0%... Nothing has dropped! But I've completed everything please see PSN me713 on the Titan character! Please help!!!!!!

I enjoyed SRL. Grinded to almost rank 7. Picked up some sweet looking sparrows. Obtained about 6 helms at 320, a bit peeved about not getting a single 320 class item; knowing my luck I am going to sit at 319 till next Light level cap raise. The maps did become stagnant after about a week. The physics were a bit frustrating such as landing and just bouncing a few feet in the air or hugging the hydra just before the venus gate because I suddenly decided to fly it the air. Looking forward to playing it again in the coming future provided some more variety is added.

1 ReplySo I finished the quest line with my titan and got ev-37 voidstreak, I started to complete the rest on my other 2 characters and got legendary horns so im guessing that we are only guaranteed only 1 legendary sparrow besides the other 2 from the side quests. If I would have known we only get once change at sparrow i probably wouldnt wasted my time on my other characters since i can just grab the sparrows from the kisok. The last part of the quest line rewards states ---"Rewards "Winner's Circle" emblem and grants a Sparrow package, containing one Eververse sparrow"..... i should have been able to get 2 more sparrows but i guess thats not the case....since i got 2 crappy legendary horns.....

[/b] hello Bungie, you guys MUST address this topic with a bit more clarity. by future you mean until this SRL iteration ends? it's clear SRL is a hit, lots of people are enjoying, so why not fix immediately what's wrong? I have acquired every piece of Momentum gear through the book but I deleted the very first one (Warlock Helmet), just like a lot of people here at the forum. And that happened just because I didn't know back then that the whole set would have this cool special effect (lights). People don't even want to "recover" it. People just want to acquire it again, take back the 3 legendary marks or charge 10, 20 marks (it's a 3 light level piece of gear). if the players knew from the beginning (an in game notice would help) that the whole set would be necessary to trigger the special effect, nobody would have dismantled it. I want to use the whole set in my main character and I can't. and that is because of bad communication. I think the only place that effect is described is on the viDoc, not even on the SRL page.
