I'm about sick of hitting the vex jump gate on campus martius and having it throw me straight into a -blam!-ing rock. Hit that bitch dead center, full throttle. Straight into the damn rocks in the other side. -blam!- you Bungie.

If you're wearing the Air Control helmet, pull up on the stick when you hit the gate. Pressing forward on the stick dives you to the rocks.
