Woah, I understand you want to get us to play more bungie, but you gotta listen up.
So the infuse process takes a very VERY long time, since you need to find weapons you want to remove AND have a higher light level, If I have a god roll, I will have to farm for weapons with higher light, not only that, you need multiple weapons (a good two or four, and even more for exotics), weapon parts (which need more weapons or legendary marks), a mote of light (but who cares about that), legendary marks, and some glimmer (again, who cares). (replace the word weapons with armor for armor pieces)
And especially if you are trying to build up light, this process is even longer
Bungie, this is not okay, I have two options for you.
1) When infusing, immediately bring the light level of the weapon infused, to the weaker gun, having a higher price according to the light difference.
2) Have an item you can buy/find, that brings the light on the item up by 3-5 or so, to have a constant way to bring up light.
3) fix the goddamn drops
So I ask you, the community, what do you think would be a better option? feel free to give more options in the comments, and give your thoughts, as well as arguments

1 ReplyHow about any armor to armor or weapon to weapon infuse. Got tons of high level boots. Let me put them into my helmet or chest piece.

3 RepliesI just think it'd be nifty if a 100% guaranteed drop for every raid was an "Infusion Shard" or some sort that's valued at the Light Level of the respective raid (KF Normal would be 310, KF Hard would be 320), that you can infuse into ANY piece of gear and instantly bring it up to that value, but the Infusion Shard only drops after clearing all checkpoints and then killing Oryx (if you kill Oryx first you'll have to kill him again after clearing the other checkpoints) or whoever the raid boss is. If it sounds like that would make leveling up too easy, -people have multiple characters -people have multiple sets of armor per character -people have multiple weapons It might be easy to get to the level cap (though it'd still take almost two months just for one character, less if you're lucky), but it'd keep people playing for a long time just to get ALL of their favorite gear to the cap.

3 RepliesMy only real issue with infusing is with exotics. I think it should only cost you one exotic shard per weapon, not per infusion. Like once you do one infusion with an exotic shard, you can freely infuse again and again just like any Legendary, just costing marks.

1 ReplyInfusing is "fine" drops however are not, dropping Shit that is 270 when you're 310 or constantly getting worse stuff in raid is ridiculous. Infusing would be great IF we actually got a lot of left over good stuff with high light.

1 ReplyEdited by Batz: 11/30/2015 10:48:09 PMMy issue with the current system is that the high light drops from the raid are so few and far apart. Let's face it, the raid weapons arent that good so you're going to use them as infusion fuel for something els. That something els is probably stuck on 310 though, meaning that you may have to wait yet another couple of weeks for a drop in the 315 range, which can be used as a middle step between 310 and 320. Hence, I think that the infusion rate should be 100 % when you're within 10-15 light levels.

I don't see an issue with it now

There is no problem with infuse

If max is 320, all exotics should automatically adjust. Players with max light then having to ditch or hope for even more drops to get light up is just dumb. Yes it's a grind but one that when increased will just turn casual players in to fans of other games. As for infusion, my beef is mostly with requiring a shard for every exotic infusion even when using another exotic for infusion. That means it takes two exotics to infuse a third exotic. Ridiculous.

6 RepliesExotic should all drop at 320, only change i would make. Require legendary marks to buy the same exotics from the kiosk.
