and raids aren't guaranteed because they're time consuming." Well the $$$$ your studio demands from the consumer shouldn't be too lofty and shouldn't be guaranteed neither. Again Bungie, keep this joker indoors stuck in the office and not outside doing PR stuff, he's not making anything better opening his mouth.....
It's hilarious, Tefty Teft the Podcast cast host cued Mr. Smith to not say that and Lukee Dookee kept on putting his foot in his mouth regarding how difficult it was to design and create raids and how it's just unrealistic to satisfy everybody in the gaming community. At least he's honest and not very hard to figure out, but the guy is a complete A-hole and douche bag. There's a time and place for one to be completely honest and speak their mind, but not when your trying to sell something or provide a service to group of people, I guess he missed that point in college economics 101 class.....lol!!!!!

Im -blam!-ing pumped for the next DLC... HoW V2 but this time it will be full of cabal.. so new and fresh its gonna be amazing.......
-
Then don't make a game based around a community and it's suggestions. Simple.
-
-
Luke smith-kun, use your almighty nurf powers and dispose of this non belever
-
Giving some sort of reason to play the old raids would be awesome. They don't even have to make them 310 light. Just something.
-
That interview is I think more than a month old. Why is this being discussed now?
-
After reading Luke's comments I took the Destiny game cd out of my Xbox one.

What is Luke smiths gamer tag
-
1. They created the expectations when they launched the hype train and they continue to do it every time they are about to launch a new aspect of the game. 2. Considering they have terrible communication with the community with what is going on and terrible story telling the players are left only to speculate on wtf is going on. 3. Yes, we know raids are hard to make and develop. We've known that for quite some time. It gets even harder the longer the game exists because developers start running out of ideas on how to push the story forward and new mechanics to keep players happy start to run dry. But they made the choice to go this route so again, it's on them. 4. What players should expect is what is sold to them and what is marketed to them. It's all anyone ever expected, so wtf he's talking about with player expectations is beyond me. 5. Luke Smith isn't a public relations guy. He is a development and behind the scenes guy. Keep him there. I, nor does anyone else, expect him to be a public relations guy. He should be where he belongs, behind the scenes making the game and not worrying about podcasts or interviews. Let the PR guys do their job so he can do his. Whoever is making the decision to put him in front of a microphone needs to stop. Let him do his job and let the PR guys do theirs. I don't expect the head of GM to talk to the public during a recall, I expect to see the talking suites.

Edited by YoungChrisMott: 11/30/2015 2:56:54 AMDestiny is clearly dying a slow death. 5 minute match making in PVP. Terrible servers for PVP/PVE. Solo strikes. Lack of enthusiasm from the Devs and Community Leaders. Poor PR from Bungie. Sarcastic remarks that make them sound like they're Gods to use dirty, pathetic peasants. But hey, why should they give us new content? All they had to do was unlock Trials every weekend and now 80% of the fan base is just on here for PVP.

Basically the next dlc won't have a raid. Thank's for the info luke.
-
people hate Luke Smith because he makes Malcolm X look like Brian Gumbo
-
-
Luke Smith is a dick.
-
Can we all just calm down? All these comments contain profanity and nothing but constant "bitching". Let's all provide quality feedback and educated hate messages instead of spouting off like little kids. My 2 cents..

I would rather the game designer do the interview then some marketing or pr person. Then your going to be getting a whole lot of filler crap. He was speaking to someone and giving his actual responses. You guys criticizing everything bungie does is going to have them shut down their communication with the player base because like it or not there are millions of players who play destiny and don't give a shit what bungie says on some podcast. Give your opinions on what the game lacks or can improve upon but when I see all over the forum this game is trash, destiny is dead, this game sucks etc it just shows us that your most likely a teenager or someone who never grew up. Destiny is fun but it's in need of content. More than challenge mode but I'm sure in a few months we will have something new and fun. Till then I'll just pop in and raid.
-
It's all good the Next dlc price and micros are going to be a bit lofty for all of us. See how that works.
-
Expecting ttk to be fun and rewarding like year one is lofty? Sounds like they know there is a huge chunk of the community that hates ttk and he's upset that we aren't all chasing the 12th version of a raid item. They had the system. They -blam!-ed it up. The only thing lofty about this is the fact that they thought everyone would just waste weeks getting nothing and still give them a pat on the back.
-
Which podcast is this?
-
They have made so much money they should provide exactly what the community wants every time. They have made millions off of us. So how about they give us what we want. Hire more people if you need more help making the raids. Give us a quality game instead of ripping us off.
-
Good to hear that Luke Smith aims low!
-
So....you wanted him to lie?.....lol........logic.
