If it doesn't help that much, why don't we drop it?
Eliminate aim assist in Crucible. I don't think Crucible should drive weapon changes in the real game, so you can leave it as-is there. Or not, I don't personally care. I mostly use Eirene.
But as an easy blanket solution, all aim assist is set to zero when you are in Crucible, including IB and ToO. Or if zero is too extreme and makes them too hard to use, set all to the same minimal value, 15 or 20 or whatever.
The basic problem with Destiny PvP is that it is as much about picking "magic guns" as it is about traditional PvP skills.

You ever play a console FPS without aim assist? There is a reason we have it. Go pop in halo 3 and try getting into a gun fight with your team mate. The battle will last way too long. Console controllers just don't allow for that precise of aiming. PC is much different and allows for greater control

Yeah I've played battlefield (where you can turn aim assist off) it was invented for crutch players like you I guess. Aim assist + snipers = no skill in any game besides battlefield.

Battlefield is a completely different game with completely different base player agility. Like I said, go try and play halo and get into a gun fight with a team member. It's no mystery that a controller limits your range of motion. Anybody who plays both PC and console knows this. Sorry you are ignorant. BTW my stats are better than yours so I guess you are the scrub lol

I've already put my proof out there. Check any of my clips and you will see I run and gun with my snipe. You will never get better because you make excuses all the time. I snipe people like you all day anywhere any time because I can actually aim. You should learn to accept that there are good snipers and that you have no concept how to play this game beyond rush in like an idiot

In battlefield you don't have the option of flying, teleporting to attack someone... in a game with no lateral movement it doesn't really factor in as much.

Go pick up the Calcutta you get as a lvl 1 hunter. Shit has the tiniest bit of aim assist. And then you will see why in a game where people move so damn fast aim assist is a must have on every weapon.

That's a fair idea. I'm not fussed what Bungie do about the whole special weapon crisis, whether aim assist is removed or not I'll still play and continue to use snipers since I use them because I like them, not because they're good or easy to use. Can't speak for everyone when I say that because obviously there will be some obnoxious kid who's using a sniper because of hidden values like AA.
