Bro I hate to jump on the bungie hate band wagon, but come on. The last 2 patches had me redownload the whole 18 gig update, people can't get rewards from cryptarch, people are stuck in the vault. They are a (or I thought) well developed gaming company, yet they consistently brake things when trying to fix it. I enjoy destiny to this day. But with every patch and update, they make things more and more worse. You would think they test things before release, but it's becoming more and more apparent that they dont. Are they really trying to force us out of this game? Im really starting to wonder more and more everyday.
Stop lying about investigating shit, cause you don't . This issue should have been resolved after the last patch was released like that

you try working on a game for years and having to change everything on a moment's notice. you do not understand how hard it is to develop and mantain a video game, my friend

It wasn't a moments notice. They were talking about this update since the last update. And for the same problems to re occur "that were being looked into" somethings got to give. They have their testing environments. They have testers.

Edited by xNirdx: 11/18/2015 10:51:21 PMI meant a little over a year ago in 2014 before they launched the game they had to basically redesign the entire story (which is why it is so very dull). And also, you have to realize that WE are testers as well, that is why we experience problems in the game and that is why it is also important to give feedback. Whether they actually take notice of the feedback is what matters. So far, I believe they have. The Destiny community (any community, really) demands problems to be fixed very rapidly almost instantly, and in the case of video games, this cannot be done since making a game is a VERY hard task!

Didn't ask for anything to be solved right now. I was stating the obvious problems that have been here. The way they deliver patched and updates. The fact that most patches bring more problems. Why did they fix the volume of the screams from oryx or sisters. I have literally not seen anyone or heard anyone complain about that. Do we remember the old phrase "if ain't broke, don't fix it". They "fixed " that and more problems arose. Not sure if you are initially upset with the state of this game or content with it. You talk about how we paid to be testers (wich I believe more and more everyday). Then you say things can't be fixed with a snap of a finger (wich I know). Or are you just saying things to me just to say them idk.
-
See like I said, people expect instant fixes. We did in fact pay to be testers. You pay to test every game, if you think about it. Every video game that has ever been created and ever will be created has and will have bugs. They will not be fixed right away, but some may be fixed faster if they're not top priorty. Like some bugs in Destiny, they do not really break the game in any way, they just are annoying. So, if they do not need fixed immediately, Bungie waits and pushes a patch with all the fixes together instead of individually.

Let me stop you right there. No bugs were ever un super mario, mega man x , legend of Zelda a link to the past, donkey kong, etc. Etc. And again, I'd what you're reading, I said nothing about immediate fixes. Talked about bugs that have existed. Then talked about a bug that noone even mentioned, that they felt needed to be fixed

Edited by xNirdx: 11/19/2015 5:27:21 PMEvery game has bugs. The reason there "were no bugs" in those games is because no one has found them. :) Also, "simple" old school games such as those are not as complicated as video games today, by far. that means that older games are less likely to have bugs than newer ones. Destiny is a HUGE game, a lot of work was put into it. There will always be things that need to be fixed,

Lol so you're telling me because noone found them there were no bugs. Right... not. Its pretty hard to find something thats not there. And yes ganes were much simpler back then, but that wasnt my point. I was simpley contradicting your statement that all games have bugs. Come on buddy you can't atleast agree that bungie is very poor at "fixing problems". I have never seen as many problems arise out of a patch as this last one. It's simple. Constantly test patches and things they want to impliment, and delay release if they can't fix it. Remember before house of wolves came out, and there was the pre house of wolves patch that they had to delay because it would have caused a lot of problems. Well they had the right idea then. What happened since then?
