Iron Banner Rewards: a theory

EDIT: Apparently, my theory still needs tweaking!
Seems that highest reputation level account-wide dictates drops.
Also, pretty much every weapon from Iron Banner Year 2 seem to drop at random levels (Assault Rifle anyone?!?)
Class items and leg armor don't seem to drop, but all other armor does... yes, even helmets!!!.

So I've managed to get halfway between rank three and four last night (*updated!). So far, I've scored:
-2 legendary leg engrams
-2 legendary gauntlet engram
-3 Iron Companion Chest Pieces
I have also seen a few chest pieces drop for other teammates, but nothing else... My working theory is:
At rank 2, you can only drop items available from Iron Banner Rank 3 and below (chest piece).
At rank 3, you can only drop items available from Iron Banner Rank 4 and below (hand cannon, gloves & all previous)
At rank 4, you can drop items available from Iron Banner Rank 5 and below (machine gun & all previous)
Can anyone prove me wrong? Did anyone get (or witnessed) a drop that contradicts this little theory of mine? I am really curious to see what people got so far, both from in-game drops or from Rank 3 packages.

Armor drops account-wide after one character reaches rank 2, and weapons at rank 3. Rank 3 package is a 310 blue artifact (haven't heard any second rewards yet) Rank 5 package is a 310 IB ghost shell and a *chance* at a second drop of any IB weapon or armor (class items not confirmed) at light level 310-320. While not confirmed, a chest piece seems to be guaranteed from the first game after reaching rank 2, typically the winning game that pushes you into rank 2.

I got the hand cannon on 2 separate characters at rank 2 both times. Also got a 3rd at rank 3. The first one I got at rank 2 blew me away bc I didn't even know that you could get drops until rank 3

All i want is the ship. I got the warlock chest twice, three ghosts (310, 313, 316), two Maschine guns, two Hand cannons and two warlock gauntlets.

Still no helm for me but deff get the best rewards when not trying. Went 24-1 got nothing went 1-11 got 319 shell. All my descent rewards r when i dont try. Rank 5 ib make sure u get last on ur team and rewards will be good.

Do the regular crucible rewards drop like red spectre? I must of played 60 games now and not seen a single normal crucible item drop.

Was rank 0 on warlock and dropped the heavy machine gun. Also from rank 5 packages got 315 ghost 315 sidearm 2 310 artifacts from rank 3 My warlock will get rank 5 today

My whole team got legendaries

Three characters and no scout at level five package. Just the soon to be nerfed shotty which I used to go on massive killing sprees in protest. That perk basically gives me seemingly unlimited ammo. Check the titan.

I'm rank 5 and I've gotten the ship and a dozen crappy chest pieces crappy gauntlets and crappy hand cannon. So far nothing great.

I got the machine gun at rank 2. Dismantled it, its light level was to low. Both armor and weapons dropped for me. Only thing with good light level was a chest piece at 308 and another chest piece at 307. But after reaching rank 5 I got iron she'll and Finali hand cannon both at light 310
