I agree with what you're saying, something you did not address: reticle magnetism, as a regular sniper myself you and I both know there is a force (which I personally hate) that seemingly pulls your reticle towards a target (whether or not it moves towards the precision shot zone or just the character in general is debatable) that point aside this force in my opinion allows a sniper to acquire a target far quicker than say a BF4 sniper (which to me is the true test of a sniper due to low, or no, aim assist and bullet drop at distance) this is the coding that I take issue with and in my opinion is a function that should be fully removed.

  • Battlefield is a completely different game, no way to compare these two. I have a feeling I know what you're on about - I feel like for instance you're aiming at someone being revived and their teammate runs past them as they stand up, forcing your scope away from them. This I'm not quite sure what it comes under, as it hasn't been covered anywhere. I've [u]never[/u] noticed this mechanism other then the circumstance I just described however. I'd like to know more about it.

  • Yeah, for me its actually frustrating, but I think it assists some of the less skilled snipers as I said before because it draws your scope to a target, I merely used BF4 as a comparison because the sniper mechanics in that game are the closest I've seen to perfect in any game, and with the difficulty comes a more rewarding feeling when you score a headshot in my opinion.

  • Indeed that game is very hard to snipe efficiently. You can't shy away from the fact it's certainly still equal, just a little easier for your average player. As much as I love sniping I do agree with another special ammo nerf and see what happens.
