You make valid points about aim assist but your tone throughout your post is obnoxious. You seem to ignore every other valid point regarding why snipers are so easy to use, generally. Whether the ease of use of snipers is a problem that needs addressing, well...

My tone isn't obnoxious. Text can be misinterpreted very easily. Regardless if they're easy to use or not, it's not for everyone nor is it unfair by any means, if it's easy why can't everyone get kills without wasting shots? The people who are good at it have practiced for a long time, you can't get on Destiny and snipe like kj right off the bat. I'm not addressing how easy to use they are, I'm addressing what aim assist does because there are [u]so many[/u] misconceptions out there. It's not my game; I don't run Bungie.

Where to start... "Text can be misinterpreted easily", well no shit, Sherlock. So with that you move on to condescension, good job buddy. Your retort does not invalidate my point, obviously this is a matter of personal opinion, to move on...Snipers in this game are for almost everyone. They are easier to use than any sniper in any other FPS I have ever played (hyperbole, maybe :P). Again, whether this is something that actually needs addressing by Bungie,well... Next, obviously the better snipers are still rewarded more and will do better in general with the weapon, I never said otherwise. The problem is that the difference between the joy a better player gets with a sniper compared to that of a lesser sniper is small. In other FPSs, the gap is not so small. Finally, addressing a supposed misconception which has already been addressed dozens of times on this site is not particularly of use to anyone. The fact is: snipers are easy to use in this game because of multiple factors. These factors include: minimal scope sway, minimal recoil and relatively high aim assist. Again, whether that needs changing. P.S. Most of the shit people complain about in Crucible is primarily down to lag. Though, the game is horribly balanced...

I'm not here to debate whether game X is easier to snipe than game Y, whichever way Bungie take sniping then so be it, I'll adapt and stay at the top the same as I always try to do (personally) along with many others. I'm only helping others out by explaining aim assist because I see too many people saying it basically aims for you. I'm fine with personal opinions and all, I'm not here to shut down anyone I'm here to help educate as best I can.

Again, you believe there are so many people with this misconception. Most of the people who will actually listen are fully aware of the fact regarding aim-assist. Anecdotally, I know no one who plays this game who is not aware of that fact. Unfortunately, a lot of comments on this site are ignored when someone states said misconception with some otherwise valid points about snipers. I do not understand the point of the second part of your first sentence. It seems utterly pointless...A bit like the paragraph about your stats in your original post. Do you somehow think that validates your argument? Anyway, this has been a waste of time for both of us. As I said above, I am not so sure I do actually want changes. It does not really affect me, nor does it affect you, I suppose I just like "debating". I respect you for at least not acting like a child whilst replying and you did not feel the need to use ad hominem attacks. For that sir, I commend you. Good day.
