Ok yes Mara Sov isn't OFFICIALLY any of the classes. However the Techeuns are clearly Warlocks and she is their leader. She uses extremely powerful Void magik during the initial assault on the Dreadnaught as seen in the opening cutscene for the Taken King. So logically since she uses Nova Bomb-like attacks on the Hive ship she would be a Warlock. Now granted, being one of the firstborn Awoken she can probably perform any of the Void supers that each class has But her powers most resemble that of an Awoken Warlock. As for Eris, yes she was confirmed to be a Hunter. From her appearence I assume she was formerly Awoken before using Hive magik to survive. Toland taught her everything about the Hive's Lore that he knew. She has become something else. No longer a Hunter, but not any class really. With her new powers, including telekenesis and summoning as seen in cutscenes she clearly has moved toward being a Warlock. This is mostly from the cutscenes and gameplay. The grimoire for the queen & her guard describes her relationship with them but does not explicitly say any of this. Hunters and Titans do not use magik. Tether, arcblade, and golden gun are elementally powered weapons. Striker, bubble and hammer are also not magik more utility. Id be happy to continue this convo. :)
