But imagine- an army approaching a warlock military base, when from nearby cliffs, hundreds of Nova bombs rain down, completely annihilating the entire army

Edited by LueLamb: 11/24/2015 5:14:25 AMHmmm. This is a toughy Obviously Titans have the advantage speaking military strategy and actually war. They have the armor, skills, and abilities to make an affective army for actual war. Hunters on the other hand would play a war of attrition and guerrilla. They would probably never become involved in a full scale frontal fight, but would probably stick to the wilds and make the Titans and Warlocks meet them on their terf. Warlocks probably have the smallest chance of winning mostly because they lack actual military skills. But what they lack in defensive/offensive strategies/techniques, they make up for with knowledge of the universe and their special Warlock space magic. They would make an affective shock force (pun mildly intended) with small precise strikes to the other armies with well placed explosions and/or Nova Bombs. Almost terrorist like in nature. That and they can easily set up base in places with complex "space magic stuff" and interference, like the Vault of Glass or The Black Garden or the Citadel. Hell they could probably set up on Mercury if they wanted too But those are just my opinions

7 RepliesThis is a hard one, but I feel that if an all out war broke between the classes a majority of hunters would just leave the tower. A larger amount of hunters are loners that aren't tied down to the hunter order and if the tower showed itself to be weak they would head out and do as they wished. The remaining hunters that choose to stay and fight will hold for awhile but eventually die out due to a lack of numbers against the Titans and Warlocks. I'm going to assume this fight takes place inside the last city, under the traveler. The warlocks would have taken the tower as their main command while the titans would move and control the wall, as they are the most familiar with this location. The few hunters that are around to fight will have an underground system running under the city itself. The underground system of hunters will slowly be killed off just due to the systematic searches of the titans and the traps of the warlocks. The main reason they die first is because they will not be able to recruit more to their cause. The hunters that left the city will become raiders, mercenaries, some might even join the Awoken for lack of a home. I could even see a few becoming involved and intertwined with fallen leadership. The titans will suffer more casualties trying to root out the underground hunters then the warlocks due to being a little more reckless but not enough to be a major concern. The major issue the titans have is since they are holding the wall, they will end up being attacked by fallen, raiders and any other alien menace as well as the warlocks from the tower. The titans are strong and they will be able to hold for years, even decades against their opponents, the problem is that they are not going to be able to set an offensive against the tower and protect the citizens of the last city at the same time. It comes down to a question of honor for the titans. They could push and wipe out the warlocks from the tower, but only at the cost of all the lives in the city. If they decided to hold and protect the city from the outside world, they will succeed for a long time. But it will only be a matter of time before some warlock scientist discovers some breakthrough that will render the titans defenseless. In conclusion...
...The Victor depends entirely on the titan decision to fight and allow the last city to die. If they do it, they win, if they don't, warlocks win.

The hunter order is dead either way, but those trained as hunters still roam, searching the cosmos for something akin to home.
22 RepliesEdited by Not Enough Mayo: 11/17/2015 10:15:27 PMHere it goes: Hunters would set up sniper nests throughout the battlefield discussing the motives for attack. Using their keen eye and access to stealth Tech they would be able to successfully infiltrate the warlock's and Titan's bases without a single trace of where they were. While there were there they would collect all the data and the battle strategies they could before the drives would run out of power. The Titans would control the wall while the warlocks would have primary custody if the tower. Titans would try to increase the their weapons and armor drastically but due to the lack of battle strategies have rendered them uneducated in strategy. Lord Saladin would lead the hammers while Zavala would teach the defenders and Lord Shaxx would educate the strikers. The warlocks would again use the various logs and track records to discuss and execute a battle strategies. Ikora Ray has managed to strengthen the powers that warlocks keep locked away. Ikora has realized the sheer power of the opposing forces and has formulated a plan that goes as follows: the ratio of sunsingers to other supers would be very low. The battle: Hunters set up and use the well drawn out maps courtesy of Cayde-6 to set up multiple sniper positions throughout the field. The Titans would enter the battlefield with loads of armor and protection due the the amazing battle education that has been taught to them. The warlocks would blink out of nowhere leaving a small cloud of dust in their arrival. Dawning the helms of the legend Saint-14, The first things that would go up are the bubbles. Using the correct strategy, the Titans would have a mixture of both weapons and armor of light to combat the extreme power that is here to come. The hunters retaliated by zeroing in the Titans heads. Realizing this outburst of offense from the hunters the Titans charged in with their hammers of light. In response to this the hunter let out a wave of arrows trying to suppress the immanent doom that is coming their way. Successfully landing several shots on their opponents the hammers would be rendered useless, not before letting several blazing hot hammers fly, killing a good number of hunters. Before the last hammer of light was snuffed out, Lord Saladin breaks through the dense line of shields and launcges a painful barrage of hammers to warlocks and hunters alike. Warlocks saw that this was an opportunity, so they equipped their dangerous fusion rifles and began plowing through the lines of hunters and Titans alike. Saladin was on his last leg. Before the sniper was lined up right in the middle of his heavy helmet, Zavala put a shield around him. Buying the Titans some extra time to regroup. It was the warlocks turn now. The sunsingers would charge into battle head on on take out as many hunters as they can before getting wiped out. The stormcallers were up next using their knowledge pre-war, they manage to improve the blink to a substantial amount. Sunsingers would use the glide to get above the enemy, and attack with landfall wiping out huge numbers of Titans and hunters alike. In response to this, the strikers and the blade dancers entered the battlefield. A full kit arc warfare blew out the blade dancers attacked using their blinding speed and amazing footwork that managed to kill off some of the warlocks. The strikers would aim for as many groups of warlocks as they could get. The hunter charged the Titans. They weren't aiming for the strikers. Realizing the ward of dawn was growing weaker, the hunters would enter Zavala's bubble finishing off Lord Saladin. Zavala fended off as many as he could with his powerful shotgun, but fell to the high concentration of arcblades. The Titans had the helmet of the legendary Titan. The blade dancers entered the bubbles chopping blindly due to the light the helmet emitted. The arcblades have fallen and with it, the defender Titans. Devastated by the power of the titans, the warlocks managed to divide the voidwalkers wiping out most of the titans before they could fall to the onslaught of golden guns, but not before tossing a couple of Nova bombs their way as well. The gunslingers would advance winishing off the that of the street Titans. Then out of nowhere Shaxx hit the ground. Sending a wave of arc energy the Hunter's way. Unable to avoid the sheer power of his super the hunters have now become the hunted. Before Shaxx could witness what had happened, he erupted into a ball of light, leaving just an orb behind. The dust settled. 4 hunters and 6 Titans remained. The warlocks have been completely eradicated. Ikora Ray retreats. Out if ammo and out of supers the remaining classes settle in a fist fight. Sending throwing knives into the Titans thick helmets it only seemed to stagger them as they charge the last hunters. Burning the last classes. They try to retreat. The Titans overpower them. Then. A group of hunters who stood back and retreated when the first hammers flew zeroed in on the Titans. Then is a ray of blinding light the sunsingers begin to rise, knew by one and with it, the hunters fell. One by one.
Praise the sun.
sorry about my spelling and grammatical errors in this story.

Sunbreaker + Defenders + Strikers = Shoulder Charging Fits of Panicking Blessing/Weapon of Lighting Hammer Throwing Madness.
So yeah Titans win.
The hunters would hide so the Titans would then eliminate the Warlocks, the the Hunters would come out and simotaniously golden gun the remaining Titans
