I think this may be something Bungie will consider in the future, it's much less of an issue without reforging though.

Edited by ObamaBinLaden: 11/13/2015 12:40:42 AMIt's arguably more of an issue, at least with reforging, the playing field was more level because any sniper who wanted it could get it. Now that reforging is gone, it takes a lot more luck, and gives a much bigger advantage to those who have it

You're emphasising the advantage. It actually gives, it's barely noticeable in a fast paced game.

trials is usually not fast paced now

That would bee cause people who can't snipe efficiently resort to hiding and waiting. Also, Trials isn't the only crucible game mode, there are plenty of fast paced game modes.
