Still don't think Sniper Rifles should have aim assistance. They're precision weapons which should require you to put 100% effort in to use them; not 80% because the game decides to hold your hand and stick your reticule on enemies for a second.

Yeah you could turn aim assist off in one of the old CoD games I believe. It was impossible to hold a shot on a person. You don't realize how much with a controller you truly need some level of AA.

Every weapon type in the game has aim assist. Why should snipers differ?

You [u]would[/u] make a fair point, if only primary weapons i.e. Mida Multi Tool weren't even worse in terms of aim assist because of the bullet magnetism it experiences (there was a video that was trending about it on the forums not so long ago, someone linked me it in this post). So essentially, for instance, you claim you put it 80% of the work for a sniper rifle, going by this logic you would be putting even less effort into a primary. Maybe 50-60%? Obviously these figures are made up. That would mean a sniper rifle still requires more precision than that of another weapon type
