So...fallout tips?
So I'm getting fallout 4 at midnight on Monday. And I'm relatively new to the series. Can anybody offer some advice before I begin? Maybe some character build ideas?

2 RepliesIf it was like the previous two games I'd drain my luck to 1, put intelligence at 9 and the rest into agility with maybe an extra point into charisma. Intelligence because you got more skill points. But now I'm not so sure without skills. I'd usually tag guns/small guns, repair and a utility such as speech, lockpicking or science. This time around I'm a little unsure.

1 ReplyDon't put any SPECIAL skills at 10 to start. Collectible Bobbleheads should allow you to gain one point to each SPECIAL. Intelligence affects your XP amounts, so keep that in mind. Low intelligence means slower leveling.

Have fun. Take your time. There is no need to rush. Enjoy the journey and the story. Sure there will many players running as fast as they can to say they completed the game... but that is a waste of time IMHO.

2 RepliesHigh intelligence and charisma. Also unlock the lock pick perks right away. Nothing worse then not having access to certain areas or loot cheats. Then build your character around your preferred weapon type. I prefer sniper with high crit damage, but a melee character is rumored to be a blast. All preference.

Edited by Ops R4ng3r: 11/8/2015 4:12:57 AMThey're changing the perk system I think so I can't really give you that great if advice. I usually center my SPECIAL (your base stat modifiers) around Intelligence, Perception, and Strength. Charisma is good too.
