I've beaten the raid, finished the chaperone ToM and first curse exotic bounties(waiting on arms day for FC) and I still have yet to get this weapon, my view is that it's not worth the time investment anymore.

If its doesn't generate ammo there is no advantage. If anything its a disadvantage because its exotic.

If you were on ps4 I would offer to help, but i'm sure there's people on xb who would too. Just make a post on here and I'm sure you'll find help.

Why? There's no need for it. I don't want it is what I'm saying. Risk vs reward for this is not worth it. For something 310 it's worth it, but just another 290 or 280, I don't wanna waste time levelling that gun up as well

Best gun for Warpriest and golgoroth... Even though I usually taunt. I agree it is situational.

But still any decent sniper like still piercer will do the job.

It makes raiding smoother for a lot of people, and it's a fun sniper with probably the highest DPS. I can understand not wanting to worry about getting it/not wanting it, but it can definitely be worth it.

Single largest reason for acquiring it at the time was it being a 310 drop which they had to -blam!- with. Took away a lot of the reward of doing the challenge. And the challenge far outweighs the underpowered exotic that was a legendary last year.

I still see tons of people scramble to get it every time LoL comes up as the daily, so I wouldn't say that was the only reason to get it. I agree the nerf was silly(Bungie seems to love nerfing things that don't need it), but in certain situations the spindle makes things a lot easier. Of course other rifles can do the job, but the high DPS comes in handy. (Especially when you get it back up to pre nerf 310 or higher.)
