Does anyone believe in God?
Just wondering cuz everyone is always saying there isn't a God

God is something bigger and grander than any human contrivance. [spoiler]Currently I'm inclined to think there is an entity that could be considered as God. Unless it's experienced first hand, it's meaningless & even after experience it can't be conveyed in words. It's beyond verbal comprehension or expression. All that being said the "sign post" that points to god can be expressed in language, the closest thing is: Unconditional Love for All

Never cared. If God wanted me to worship him, he'd let me know personally. I don't need ignorant morons asking me if I've accepted Jesus into my heart.

1 ReplyAll I know is that I sure see alot of relgion bashing on these forums and how everything is stupid. I just want to clarify some things based off people I know. Most modern Christians think the Big Bang did happen, they know the Earth is way older than 6,000 years, and that the Earth was not created in 6 days. They also know that life started from cells then things evolved and God didn't just poof up stuff. I hope I clarified what a typical Christian believes nowadays.

80 RepliesI do. All those that say he doesnt exist are just sad. The belief in God has existed for thousands of years. Suddenly, in the past 100 years, people were like," I want to be different". That is what brought us to where we are today.

2 RepliesI believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to hell. The third day he rose again from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
