80% of the female characters are men because: 1) not many games have female protagonists, much less one that looks well and can customize (slightly) 2) some characters look better as female, for example I think a Titan looks better as a female. 3) there aren't many female players, therefore.. Of course 80% will be men. Hell, the game population is probably 70%~ male already.
