good point! only k/d measueras individual skill. iv played since day 1 and i main a hunter nightstalker is fine in pvp. the super is not a goldengun, its a damn trap. use it wisley like with the novabomb. sunbreaker is op --》 the sunbreaker super is OP but only in pvp due to 2 things. 1. they get alot of hammers. 2. massive defence boost. This needs a change but only in pvp. there are 2 ways of adressing this. 1. reduce the amount of hammers to a max number like golden gun. id say 3. before shit hits the fan... 3 hammers but still insane defence boost. The second way would be to leave the hammer amount 'time super is active' as it is but greatly reduce the defence boost. Stormcallers, bladedancers, and sunsingers all get defence boosts just not as big. In crucible a stormcaller with super active will take longer to kill due to defence boost. same goes for sunbreakers. BUT. a sunbreaker takes 2 golden gun shots to kill as does a stormcaller. nothing special there. Now here is the funny part a sunbreaker can use 1 hammer throw to kill a stormcaller with super active. unfair as long as they have one of the two benifits i named above. We the community are not asking for a sunbreaker 99% everything nerf we are just asking for some small tweeks in the way the super works thats all. Now back to the "statistics" i can play my warlock, hunter or sunsinger and my individual gunskill will not change, sure i might make a few mistakes due to beeing use to the other class but thats normal. k/d is nothing but an individuals kills devided by deaths so it is not even a way of telling if you are a good player( generally yes a gigh k/d means good player i know). but k/d wont tell you if someone is a good teammate will it.!? anyway share your toughts and oppinions with me :) lets work together as a community to make destiny the dream we are striving to build with bungie.

  • As far as nerfing the super I can see taking away the armor and maybe 2 hammers. That should balance out the super for the most part. What do you think would be good neutral game buffs to compensate?

  • in my oppinion the sunbreaker as a whole is fine. The fact that the super is broken in pvp means that it needs fixing and not compensation. I think what people when they say neutral buff is variety in pvp. alot of the sunsinger perks are much better in pve than pvp

  • The super may be a bit much but even with that they are just barely competitive. If it was to be made not op then Sunbreakers would be meh and Titans would yet again lack a good pvp class. So if they have HoS nerfed they should get a buff to the neutral game to make up for it. I definitely don't mean compensate Sunbreakers without nerfing the super. True but Sunbreakers only have passives for their super. Their passives for their neutral game are few and generally not as useful as the other 2 new subclasses. So if their super is made to be on par with Storm caller and Nightstalker what would they have then? Nothing, they would just be worse than the other 2.

  • thats the dilemma isnt it. but what it truly comes down to is gunskill. as long as your gun is what you rely on the class doesent realy make a difference. but i have to agree with you that the class is centered around the super. it needs something to spice up the gameplay a bit

    I agree. Sorry if my response sounds short but I am all for tweaks to the super as long as the neutral game gets small tweaks for the better in return (like increased melee range). Otherwise Sunbreaker will suffer the same fate as the other 2 classes. You're spot on about skill and K/D btw. K/D only measures how well someone does for themselves with their subclass. It is not entirely based on skill and doesn't even show how good of a team player you are. All it is, is an indicator of how much you kill vs survive.
