HA!! Finally Found What I Was Looking For Sunbreakers vs the other new classes

[b]Again I am not comparing supers alone but entire classes. I think we all know HoS is all around a cut above the rest. However Sunbreakers pvp game outside of the super is weaker than the other new classes. [/b] [u]To the ones saying how Sunbreaker is already doing better than the old Subclasses all I have to say is, stop cherry picking. All the new subclasses are doing better than the old subclasses. Nightstalkers are actually exceeding Sunbreakers. The difference between Sunbreakers and Storm callers overall is also negligable. So I'll reiterate, STOP CHERRY PICKING. [/u][b] BTW if you are going to claim that I am cherry picking at least explain what I am missing. I'll be more than happy to accommodate. If you don't respond to my question asking for clarification I can't even take you seriously as anything more than someone grasping at straws. [/b] [b]Maybe I wasn't clear enough but for those who still don't get it I am not opposed to nerfing HoS. However that said one way or another the Sunbreakers super and abilities outside of its super need to be brought on the same level of the other classes. I can see it both ways. Keep the better super and the worse overall class abilities or make the super and class abilities on the same level as the other new classes. If you just want a straight up nerf and keep the Sunbreakers neutral game as sub-par than I cannot agree with you. [/b] When we kept showing that Sunbreakers were getting the least ability (super included) kills everyone kept crying saying that it had nothing to do with how well the class was doing K/D wise. That said it does look like Sunbreakers are catching up super wise and maybe are doing a little bit better than Nightstalkers with their super given the population difference. However Sunbreakers have the worst K/D for pvp of the new subclasses. Look at destiny tracker>tools>dtr population stats. http://destinytracker.com/destiny/population (Yes Nightstalkers and Sunbreakers are skewed due to glitches. However Stormcallers are still beating out/tying with Sunbreakers even though they don't have a glitch [that we know of] point being made that Sunbreakers are actually fairly balanced.) They may have a great super but it appears that, that only makes up for the rest of the class. [spoiler] Dont even say that the worst players go Titan. Competitive players only go for the best.[/spoiler] Its funny how many in the community say just wait till Bungie gets their information then we'll see how OP Sunbreaker really is!! Once statistics on the K/D's come out from Destiny Tracker its all, wait... that can't be right... Well Correlation does not equal Causation. Titans just suck :D But you decide for yourselves. [u] For those of you saying that the difference between Sunbreaker and Stormcaller is negligable, THANK YOU!! You get it! Sunbreaker can't be op if its doing the same with the other classes. [/u] Heres another site. Not sure if its Xbox exclusive or not but they claim to use a greater population to run their statistics. http://guardian.gg/ So according to this Sunbreaker and Gunslinger are tied with Storm caller and Blade dancer a little bit behind. (K/D wise). If Sunbreaker gets nerfed so should Gunslinger at the very least. That said maybe the only way to satisfy the whiners is just to simply redesign the whole Sunbreaker class. The reason I mentioned Gunslinger is because they have been getting a superior K/D for a year now. Now that Titans get a class with the same K/D in less than 3 days many people are already saying nerf it! Don't you see the double standard? [b]Notice I never said GG and HoS but Gunslinger and Sunbreaker.[/b] If you bring the super down to the other classes levels then you should bring the neutral game back up to the other classes levels.

    • I like when a sunbreaker acts like he can pop my bubble without me suppressing him and proceeds to get a WoL erieen to the dome. Same with shadow shot. My bubble cannot be shut down by it. Don't try it.

            • The neutral game is on par or better than Gunslinger, not sure what you're getting at, but Gunslinger has completely useless perks(Scavenger, really? that's your argument?", the only thing I see people really complain about is the defense Sunbreakers have, I mean really, not getting one shot by a high impact sniper? I hit a Stormcaller earlier, he had max armor + a chest that added armor for arc based subclasses for 209, he instantly died. Later in the match I sniped a Sunbreaker in the face for 188, he had max armor, and a chest that added armor for solar subclasses. Let me tell you why that is wrong. 1). He has hammers that have absolutely no damage dropoff, even if he throws it across the map, even GG has damage dropoff due to hand cannon nerfs. 2). Highest defense of any subclass, with the potential to wipe out whole teams(No other class can take as much damage, OR kill as many people, you can't name one that has both). 3.) Tracking hammers(yes they move 3-5 feet and have proximity detonation), no damage dropoff, make enemies explode, and regenerate health on kill. I have a Sunbreaker, the chance of dying in your super is slim to none unless you're a retard. The Neutral game is NOT bad as people say it is, you have fusion grenades, incendiary grenades, a one shot melee on low armor targets and Thermite grenade for crowd control. Also, all grenades and charged melee grant Cauterize(health regen, doesn't only work for the super). Also, if you want to go another way with the whole subclass, you can have grenades every 13 seconds with max discipline, which means you can basically spam grenades almost forever, especially if you are using the Armamentarium Y1 chest piece in regular Crucible. Sunbreakers have enough neutral game, better than MOST classes, enough to sacrifice that extra 5% damage reduction they get in their super to maintain a high level of play. 5% damage reduction would not ruin the super, or the subclass in general. I can walk into a room with 5 people in it with my Sunbreaker because guess what? If I get ONE hammer on a person, the other 4 are screwed, there's no way they will kill me, even with heavy ammo, and that's the problem with Sunbreakers.

                • Hos pros: ~5 Hammers -Travel time with explosive damage - easier to hit with -Healing -Proximity detonation -Massive damage reduction Golden gun pros: Hitscan That's about it actually. Other than being hit scan hos is better in every way :/

                  • So... I'll admit I didn't read it all... But I read the part about the new subclasses being better... I'm not disagreeing, just throwing this out there... If you get fed shit every day of your life. Breakfast lunch and dinner. Then one day someone offers you a nice piece of blue shit. The blue shit will likely automatically be better just because it's something new... That's why I can't tell if these new subclasses are better or worse.

                    • It would probably be more accurate to the criticism if it were k/d while using supers. Unfortunately then nova bomb/FoH would be the highest since they have the smallest window for death. If you measured the average kills per super, then you would see a problem arise with sunbreaker and probably slightly with stormcaller

                      • You're using the skill of the players to determine the powerfulness of a class? [b]using k/d?[/b]. Stop. This is dumb 1. Using data that is dated 2 months in rather than a year 2. You can't say that a super doesn't have too much armor by looking at the KD of the subclass. Go in there, get Rekt by a few sunbreakers that you can't kill and then come and think about it.

                        • One word to clear all balance issues: Halo If you have as much skill being a "top PvP'er" you could win up to a million bucks if you win the championship. Oh you don't like Halo? Halo PvP is boring? Then get used to the "unfair advantage" Destiny PvP is all about. Or ask them to replace all the skills/perks, guns and armor with generic ones when entering PvP. Stupid idea? You don't want balance. You just want the other players to be Dregs and only you can be a Guardian. LoL @Destiny PvP problems. SMH 24/7.

                            Ahahahah. Stupid. The sunbreaker is 5th in pvp kills for subclasses. Over void walker strike and denfender, and stormcaller It's almost got more than bladancer which is 4th. Now listen these are kill since release. And fyi it's getting ready to surpass the blade dancer and it's only been a subclass for 2 months. A month from now it if doesn't get nerfed it will be the subclass with the most pvp kills and it has to double it's kills in that time to take over the first spot sunsinger. Now tell me. How does a subclass almost have more pvp kills than blade dancer in 2 months, when blade dancer has been out for a year. BECAUSE IT UNBALACED. DUMBASS.

                            • Makes sense but that's probably because sunbreaker mainers usually only get any significant amount of kills while in super, outside of super, at least from what i notice, they are decent at best. But still the super racks up a ton of kills and orbs.

                                • Finally, some numbers. While it's great and all to see these values, there is only two months of ttk data as opposed to the year of vanilla. If you are able to pull numbers from the first two months of the vanilla, then we could have something to compare.
