KD has always been determined by whoever is better at shooting their gun i.e. aiming...not abilities/supers. Historically, titans have always had significantly lower KDs. What is your point? That after sunbreaker, titans are now good? Perhaps even too good? They went from sh!t to on par with stormcallers? Did titan player all of a sudden became good at using their guns? NO...it's their f*king supers lmfao...

  • Or is it possible that Titans finally have a super that is able to generate kills like BOTH other classes have had for a year? You think it's a coincidence that the highest k/d has always been hunters with GG or bladedancer? That somehow those statistics mean that hunters are better players? It's because their super is one that can easily generate 2-6 kills every time they activate it. It helps push their k/d above where it would be with just guns. Titans have never had this ability. Now they do and people are flipping out.

  • I don't mind titans having a roaming super...it's that the super itself is too strong; that is the issue lol. You probably main a titan and enjoy that almost invincible super but hey, enjoy it while you can...it will be nerfed. and I tried to demonstrate that the sudden increase in KD for sunbreakign titans shows that the SUPER is generating majority of those kills and not skill with a gun. Check out warlocks...a meager.03 KD increase from voidwalker to stormcaller? The titan gained 2x+ If you argue that titan had sucky supers...are they that much worse than nova bomb lol? I think you're flipping out that everyone is calling for a justified nerf but you don't want it bc you main a titan lol.

  • I have said multiple times on the forums that a reasonable reduction in armor would be fair. I do think that as they are right now, sunbreaker Titans are too hard to kill in pvp. But please, let's not pretend striker is as good as any other super in the game for pvp. It's the worst offensive super there is. Yes, it's worse than nova bomb because you can fire it from range and take a group by surprise. If a group of people see a Titan charging with reckless abandon they scatter.

  • You have a perk that lets you charge from air super fast...that catches them by surprise sometimes...I played as a titan for some time and I agree it's not as versatile but if used with shoulder charge...you can run...shoulder charge in to a group and into a smash that kill 3-4 people in a control point XD besides, they are great for countering any roaming supers. and lets not get started on WoL sniping lol...instant 1 shot body...lol.

  • The fact that you are even bringing up defender as a useful crucible super shows you are stretching. Look at the stats. Both Titan subclasses are far below hunters and warlocks, but especially defender. Yes, shoulder charge is an amazing neutral ability. Lightning grenades can be very useful. A striker is not a bad pvp class when played well. But both other classes have supers that are vastly superior in multikill capability compared to Titans (prior to new subclasses). You want to know why the Titan kills in super jumped more drastically than the new warlock class did? Because it's actually capable of consistently getting more than one kill. It isn't situational. You can pop it and roam around killing like hunters and warlocks have been able to for a year. This is a shift in the meta/paradigm of crucible that people aren't adjusted to, yet. Titans were never a real threat with the super, and now that they are people at freaking out. A slight armor nerf is probably called for, but I bet we don't see much more than that. And for reference, I actually play my hunter more in crucible than I do my Titan. Look at my stats if you want to verify that. I am not a "Titan main", at least when it comes to pvp.

  • I don't know why you are discounting defender class... It's meant to be a support class even in crucible. If you played on a team of 6 competitively...WoL team snipes in crucible is pretty deadly lol...again...not as versatile and not great for KD but doesn't mean it's not Good lol. I think most people just don't know wtf they're doing in crucible.

  • Im discounting it because of statistics. I'll admit I'm not a great crucible player, but any super can take down the bubble immediately. And if you don't want to take it down just stay away from it until it goes away. It's stationary and non offensive. It's the worst pvp super in the game. Sure it might have a use, but you'd be better off with any other super. Now, force barrier can be amazing, and the sticky grenades are nice. So the neutral game is actually pretty good. But it still falls behind all the other subclasses, except for maybe personal preference for some guardians.

Prior to this you had 3 roaming supers, and now there is a total of 5. As such people have to change the way they play. People inherently don't welcome change, so that is part of the reason.
