Shadowshot kind of sucks in pvp. Well sucks when compared to the other supers.

The concept of the ability is cool. Just need it to be more reliable in situations displayed in the video.

Agreed. Either have the effects of tethering immediate when hit directly like the OP suggested, or have a higher impact slightly surpassing a non-nighthawk golden gun.
