Your hammer is not slow. It moves at the speed of a car/sparrow, ITS FAST ENOUGH. Also hitboxes do change but not by much depending on the class and gender and neither is the speed between classes. Almost forgot, Hammers have built in grenades and horseshoes and a perk for tracking.
