This game is t for teen 13 and up. Dont get mad cause your 11 year old can't handle it. Butbifbyour thatvmad about it, nintendo has a wide variety of family friendly games where even participation is rewarded.

  • They should still drop from engrams with a lower damage , so everyone can enjoy the guns seems silly that my son pays the same amount for half the content . You guys who have had years exp playing these types of games can sail through get your lil extra power that shows your the best and the kids just learning the ropes get the lowered damage version and still enjoy the game . I don't care what guns I get and if I could give my extras to other players who couldn't get em I gladly would .

  • But this game is not for him, he should not be legally playing it. You as a parent are willfully allowing your son to be subjected to the stress this game brings. Your parenting will be more to blame if your son cuts himself because hes stressing out cause he not mentally prepared for what this game brings. Ratings are there for a reason

  • Cuts himself lmao He's a kid not stupid and yes he can play Destiny because I have taught him well that most games are works of fiction and nothing more . Games have always been made to cater to all skill levels is all I'm saying , easy , normal , hard . Making the game fit to only one standard is silly marketing . And ratings are there for stupid non gamer parents to know what the game is kind of about , I always play the games he wishes to play before him or search the web for information on the game . Its rated for the violence , but you know I don't keep Rocket Launchers , or Sniper Rifles Laying around , I keep them in a Gun locker with my Void Grenades .

  • His son is perfectly legally entitled to play the game it's just that a shop can't legally sell him the game and as his father plays with him (parental supervision) I can't imagine anyone should have a problem with this it's not as if Destiny has gratuitous real life violence or drug usage or any sexualisation whatsoever.

  • But destiny does have statistical gambling enfused into the fiber of its being. His kids emotions can and will be influenced by that addictive nature of destiny, with or without supervision.

  • You maybe have a point with the addictive qualities of the game but I'm sorry as long as his dad makes sure it's kept within healthy limits it shouldn't cause any real problems it's not really gambling though to be actual gambling you would have to be risking something tangible on the outcome
