I feel like you attempted to use satire tree but was unsure due to how terrible it was

I doubt you could spot satire if you mistook my mockery as satire.
-
Satire can be used in many forms. Mockery happens to be one of them. Look it up
-
Satire isn't intended to be obvious, mockery is a form of sarcasm. At least in my taste, I dislike satire that is easy to read.
-
Nowhere in the definition of satire does it say it can be obvious or not

Edited by Mr. Morale: 10/1/2015 7:04:49 AMNo it doesn't, but a writer chooses how to approach it. My satire wouldn't strike as obvious, therefore I wrote a mockery of the commenter. Also, I hardly exxagerated, or even tackled the commenter for what he said. I just mocked his statement, subtlety. I wouldn't call that satire, it isn't good enough.

Hmm okay fair enough. But if you are going to write something that can be considered satire by others then be ready for someone calling it out
-
Fair enough, it felt insulting though so I became a little defensive.

I have a belly button

I find it hard to believe you do.
