With a detection ghost or a hunter with relentless tracker, you should be able to farm up the rare materials in about 90 minutes to 2 hours. With the right subclass, you can farm the kills in the beginning of siege of the warmind in less than an hour. I've done it three times now... I'm glad it's over with.
