...really? That's a poor argument, considering I already said they can have 170 light activities. Back then they weren't level 20 activities. You go to the weekly? Three tiers. They didn't all say 20. They had 34, 32, and 30. What are those?
light levels
Just as they are now. There's no logical way to defend it.

 • Other then the fact that they would now be 280, 260, and 240 if they still did the weekly like they always had. They wouldn't be anywhere close to the "170 version" you've dreamed up.

 • Yes, it could specifically be there for the people who did not buy the DLC. But congratulations, you poorly defended an anti-consumer practice.

 • No, consumers should be enticed to buy the new thing. It's what car dealers do, they slap a one or two year warranty on the car and maybe keep parts for around for the car for a year or two and after that, you're screwed because they no longer keep the parts for your car, so you either buy them from a shady business that massively overcharges you for the parts or you buy a new car. Or if you want to compare it to a computer, that's just as easy. It's not anti-consumer by any means, it's ignorant to believe that something will last forever, or even a long amount of time considering how fast stuff advances and evolves in the current times.
