"Light cap was the only cap that players cared about." Sounds like a problem with the players, not the company. As for the difference between content and features, I'm not "arbitrarily deciding what is content and what is not." The nightfall and all other features were marketed AS SUCH, they were marketed as "endgame features" when destiny was first released. Guess what? They are still that way, but now the endgame has grown with the players and those that did not grow with it are left behind, as they always are.

 • Light level was the only level that determined access to activities. So stop being an idiot.

 • I'm not being an idiot, I'm actually being rather reasonable. You're just too stubborn to see it.

 • Then please, by all means, tell me why the original experience level cap mattered at all, when it was the light level that granted access to activities? Knowing that we are talking right now about access to activities.

 • Because you can't equip stuff that gives you the light levels without the proper main level.

 • You clearly have no understanding whatsoever of why there was even two level caps in the first place. The experience level cap only even existed so that players could have uniform progression during the story and reach level 20 regardless of what gear they got. The light level was always the true cap and the actual requirement to enter activities. Even now it is still the requirement to enter activities, even as they said that they would be moving away from grinding for light levels (what a joke, as if they would ever stop the grind). They never had any plans to increase the experience level cap. They never had plans for anything. They released this game half made so that they could sell us a $60 beta test and gather feedback while profiting. It was the minimum viable product. The true level cap, light level, the thing that everybody was actually trying to get, always changed, yet was still accessible to all players. Only now did they change that to extort us into giving them more money for something we already bought.

 • So, I've given irrefutable facts due to how things are and yet your rebuttal is riddled with rumors and speculation without a shred of documented evidence. I think I'm done here. You're a complete moron who buys into "the next big controversy." Hate to break it to you, but elvis is dead and the illuminati doesn't exist.
