So you want to play endgame content without paying for the actual content?

What's the point? There is no room to make progress, except for exotics. If you want to continue to improve in destiny, you're going to have to by the expansion

I don't care about improving right now, I just want to play the content that I did pay for. Did it really feel like an improvement discarding your old legendaries and exotics for greens and blues? They just make you do the same thing over and over again. As long as you're having fun, it doesn't matter, and I would have fun continuing to play the content that I paid for.

Then what do you play destiny for? The whole point of destiny is to get better gear, and kill badass bosses

I play it for FUN. Read my reply. FUN. I have FUN playing it. I don't exclusively care about gear. I have fun running the Nightfall and VoG and Crota.

I get the VoG and Crota fun, but nightfalls?!?! That is exclusively for loot drops. And why would you do heroic strikes fun? Those are for XP and loot. Crucible? You can still play all of the crucible modes. Strikes? You can play them for "fun"

If you enjoy the challenge, then buy the expansion, it's considered endgame. Buy the endgame

In destiny, you pay for for endgame content. The strikes are there to play the endgame, i.e. Nightfalls
