Lol yes you are, you want to be able to reach max level without buying the newest expansion. Maybe ask Obama.

Nope, I want the content to continue to be available at my level. But I guess there's no point in responding to you as you seem incapable of reading.
-
How can they progress the endgame for those that decide to buy the expansion, and also appease the peasants that want to do end game content 6 levels above their cap?
-
By leaving it available at the level 34 cap as well, something that is obviously possible when you consider that strikes are available at different levels with different rewards.
-
It would have to be a sort of 'legacy nightfall' and not reward any of the new loot. I can understand why they didn't want to create that tho, a lot of work for the people who aren't supporting you.
-
It's really not a lot of work. Strikes already exist in this form with multiple levels and loot tables. And since they advertised and sold me this content, I expect them to keep it available to me.
-
Again seems like a lot of work for people that aren't paying them anymore. You bought access for that content for a whole year. You didn't buy access to it for this year. It's time to either pay, or move on.
-
No; I did not buy a one year subscription, I bought full access to that content, and it's not acceptable for them to remove or lock it. I paid them $100 over the course of a year, far more than most games cost. Not only is it not a lot of work but it is for customers who paid them a lot of money.
-
Again you knew this was an ever evolving game when you originally bought it. Why is it such a surprise that in order to progress you need the current expansions?
-
I never said that I want to progress, only that I want to play the content that I paid for.
-
Since you don't have ttk, I'm guessing you didn't realize that shorting the vanguard Playlist was an excellent move, so that the screens not so crowded when selecting a Playlist for strikes. That and the higher the light level, the better gear drops. So instead of having 5 playlists going up 2 levels per and dropping specialized, useless, not very good loot, you have one Playlist that allows you to keep playing to get closer to 170 light, pre-ttk. It was a huge overhaul of the game, and I don't think they skipped over this little fact. So, technically, you haven't lost or have had content taken away from you. It's just been simplified to reflect said overhaul. If I'm understanding you correctly, that is.

Edited by Comptonburger: 9/19/2015 9:42:21 PMSo that the screen's not crowded?? lol. Who the heck cares about that? The screen was far more crowded with 5 or 6 different playlists prior to TTK and nobody complained. My issue with it is mainly that the strike playlist is only level 20, making it too easy and boring. I've also heard that it doesn't drop legendary gear. Also, you only addressed a single thing that I listed.

Nightfall is endgame. You're expecting and think you're entitled to a legacy nightfall. Lucky you're allowed to still have a strike playlist
