King's Fall Raid Guide Part 2: Golgoroth's Folly

Now, my fellow guardians! The Warpriest is defeated and we are one step closer to victory. Let us deal with this next abomination and continue our quest. Bask in their Tears Ok guys, for Golgoroth, the Headcrab Ogre, there are a few mechanics that you need to keep in mind when trying to tackle this beast. For many of the first raiders, this part was said to be one of the hardest because there is a Mcguffin in the boss' critical points and the explosive thrall. Just be mindful of which crit does which job and you should be able to figure it out. 1. The spot on Golgoroth's Back can be used to grab boss agro and force him to only notice the single person who shot his back. Only do this when the minions on the upper level are dealt with. I suggest two people juggle his agro based on the Reclaimed Light that will be mentioned in #2. 2. There are about six giant orbs hanging from the ceiling. You had to shoot one to summon the boss and you will need to use these to defeat the boss. The game may call these bubbles "Reclaimed Light" but we all know that these are the tears of his fallen foes. Use their anguish to fuel your fire and coordinate with the agro team to set up the boss' stomach crit to allow you all to shoot him while within the pool. Beware, there are thrall all over the pit you need to stand in. Just deal with them as they get close since the guys up top will be dealing with Golgoroth and getting into position for the next drop. 3. On the last orb, the agro man who had just finished should jump down and add more damage onto the boss. Once the last bubble pops and you deal your damage, get back up top and prepare for a new wave of foes. Just be mindful of where they spawned from the start of the fight and tackle them as you did with the Vex in the Templar's Arena at the Vault of Glass. Once again, rinse and repeat until the Ogre breaths no more. Below CHALLENGE MODE: Everyone must take the Gaze of Golgoroth before his gaze is dropped, meaning that each player will have to shoot him in his back before beginning the next phase. Keep in mind, the Orbs of Ogre Spit will still chase you. You will need to dodge, dip, dive, duck, and dodge to survive. My recommendation is to use the opposite bridge of whichever orb of reclaimed light you drop and number your team 1-6 with 1 being the first person taking and holding the gaze as normal, 2 being the one who jumps out of the pit when the gaze is at 10 seconds and gets ready to take it at the last second, and 6 being the last one to take it.
