I'm one of those people. I have been playing destiny since day one. Personally, I don't give a shit about the old content. For me the taken King is a fresh start to the Destiny franchise. I spent a lot of money on the collectors edition of destiny just like a lot of people here did. Do I feel cheated? No. I had my fun with it, and now it's time to move on.

Of course, as there are in any game that is expected to carry on as long as destiny is. How many times did Blizzard continually change how their game worked? How many times did they tweak the gear in World of Warcraft? The talents? There is a reason behind everything they do. Just because you are too short sighted to see it doesn't mean it's not there. The vocal minority that continues to poison these forums is like a cancer to the Destiny community. The only community that I have seen which is worse is League of Legends.

What I have a problem with is people attempting to get refunds for a product they have put hundreds of hours into. For a product they clearly enjoyed, and now feel slighted just because they don't have access to some content. Can't do the daily heroic, weekly, nightfall? What is the point if you're not going to participate in the new end game? Don't have access to the new level cap? Once again, what do you need it for? The new level cap is for end game content.

On a side note i was genuinely going to get taken king and convinced my mate to do the same after we played the new quest layout with 2.0. We even deleted a character just to make a new one and start from scratch. But the price is too much for dlc for us and now that pieces of what we had have gone who is to say that when we do it get it will last. Without any sort of time frame ever given we dont know what parts will get hidden from us and when. I even understand the blades of crota stopping or the wolves patrolling stopping as they were a random factor but parts of the actually end game stuff? I don't get it

I hadn't even had chance yet to do big chunks of that yet but they moved the goal posts on people. The new end game is part of it. What was wrong with the end game where it was and start fresh with year two? As bad as the first year was at least it would of been a complete new break for it and finished off that whole messed about chapter. I get the need for change especially in this game. I take it from what I've read it's because certain parts in the new dlc have you going back to old areas etc and it would require two versions of the areas. But how about they didn't do what they've done for the last 12 months and rinse n repeat. Make new areas, new spaces for new quests and not rehash things.

I cant say I'm big on the community myself, considering half of the ones speaking are inexperienced with the game, and I do enjoy the game. But to speak against the people that are speaking against the pricing and what was promised, then that shows ignorance of what the game was SUPPOSED to be. People who speak like this were most likely not the ones excited for the release beforehand or hopped on some other bandwagonto sound cool. What was shown and what was given speak for itself. You "spend money on destiny and stop complaining" people for the most part are ignorant to what destiny was supposed to be.

However, the game is improving, and from what I can tell there is actually an end goal in mind. I'll give them another two years of my time, but if the game doesn't turn out like they had originally promised then believe me, I'm out.

Agreed. Everyone is forgetting the issue though. Year 1 players who buy TTK: $140 (which would be okay if known beforehand) Year 2 players who buy TTK: $60 ( WITH CHARACTER BUMP TO 28 I BELIEVE) So they get to play what I get to play for less than half price lol. Im not big on complaints but im not big on gettin robbed ya know what im saying brutha.
