Unrelated question: What are the diamond formations next to the planet names on our director screen?

They appeared next to the planets in the very first cutscene in the game. I imagine they are symbols or a language, used perhaps by the traveler itself for our planets and moons.

Most notable one I saw was Venus, the same mark is on the hunters crucible gauntlet I think
