I disagree.
I like that there is light tied to them now. It gives the items a purpose. For example, I had a bunch of capes, but no real reason to switch them out. Now there is reason to keep striving for better items. I think it was a great move.

I get what your saying but he is talking about light and not the actual perks in them like spotting materials a suff like that.
