Game series that need to end?
Let's exclude the obvious Call of Duty, Assassins Creed or any yearly series. I'll start, Halo, Gears of War, and Forza.

Edit 3: It has just hit me a majority of people commenting must have needed a helmet to cross the street when they were younger.

I might get some heat for this, but.. The Souls series. I've played everything from Demon's Souls to Bloodborne, and will likely get DS3, but it's becoming a bit like AC with each iteration. Maybe FF, too.

Gears for sure. 343 said with halo 4 they were delivering a trilogy so we can expect a halo 6, but after that they should stop making games. Assassins creed and cod are just wallet leeches at this point.

Gears is the one except. I'm going to have to say Forza. It's becoming so stale since they took out the auction house and storefront. You can only play the same cars and tracks so kind. Call of duty is the pinnacle of all things that should die.

13 RepliesBetter question. After which installment should a series end ? 2nd, 3rd 4th? How high a number are people comfortable with today? Some games been around since I was a kid. Giants like street fighter and mortal kombat. I wouldn't say I want to be a buzzkill. If that's someone's favorite game, I'd feel f[b]u[/b]cked up to say I want to take it away from them just cause I think it should end honestly.
