Rasputin is a hyper intelligent AI which accesses several super computers and Warsats around our system. Cayde-6 is an Exo, which is a war-machine which gained sentience, but when certain things are remembered they must be wiped. That is what makes the number next to their name.

Hi Anon. Do we assume that the wiping of Exo minds occurred during the Golden Age when we had the means to do so? I can only imagine that the technology required to reset an Exo mind was lost during the Collapse, so if we go by the amount of resets we can maybe get further into the past? So from what I can see, Lakshmi-2 has had the least amount of resets, and not being a guardian means she has memory going back to the Collapse, and possibly even further? Possibly what makes the Exo Stranger so special is she has never been reset? Have we ever paid attention to these individual characters ramblings in the tower to see if there is any relevance going back to the Golden Age/Collapse. Or do you think Exo's just have a reset switch in the back of their heads (as in we can still reset now)?

I thought of their resets as a way for them to stay alive, but it would explain why Lakshmi-2 has only had her mind reset either once or twice. [spoiler]I still don't know if the number means how many times they were reset (ex: 1 reset=Exo-1, 2 resets=Exo-2) or if it is a type of label (ex: Exo>Exo-2>Exo-3>etc.)[/spoiler]

The idea came from banshee who says, "how many times have I been reset, 42, 43?" Or something like that, of course, he's named banshee-44

Yeah but my confusion is on whether or not an Exo had a name like Banshee-1 if they had there mind reset only once or did they skip the "1" and just went to Banshee-2.

Hmm, I would assume you are Trigger BladeX, but after your first reset you'll become Trigger BladeX-2 due to this being your second version
