I feel gameplay would go smoother if reporting a player can notify them that they have been reported. If I report a player for being good and have to go to their profile to say good game it is just a small inconvenience that can be changed. Or if I report a player for having a bad connection and they see they have been reported for that reason maybe they will check their connection. Just a thought.
Edit: option to tag name to notification. Also a cap on how many notifications can be sent per match maybe? Any more ideas?

So true

My buddy has started taking a screenshot of the ping bars and sending them to the offenders. Some people were jerks, others were like "Really? I didn't know." and were apologetic. Of course it would be nice if the blatant cheaters just plain get shut down then and there.

I already get hated on for having bad connection by people I beat in rumble or iron banner yet my connection is fine and it's just because I'm better than them

It also gives you a chance to replicate, maybe you had a genuine connection problem or something. Good idea! Reports should include a commentary.
-
good idea, if you don't know it's broke then you can't fix it.

Not an in game notification. Might see some serious abuse as well from vindictive or trollish players. The average, non-offensive, not cheating, or even not lagging player might receive a lot more reports than he may realize, especially if the reporter KNOWS he'll he can see the message.

I like this just so long as it doesn't say the name of the player that reported.
-
Actually if it goes to the postbox - yes, but no to any notifications while playing. Just too distracting. I already hate it when I get any messages/notifications because ps4 puts them over the radar.

Edited by Affest: 8/28/2015 4:52:51 PMI'd love this! The delivery could be reworked though. Having it cover any vital parts of the HUD would make it annoying in the crucible. A better solution would be to make the reports show up in the same way "Attention: Contacting Destiny Servers" shows up when the servers decide you've played too much.
