Your argument is invalid because you are simply here defending exotic hand cannons.
What those guns bring to the table is far and away more than what the messenger does.
Anyway, the only justification for messenger/ hopscotch is the state of the meta and how it is DOMINATED by those handcannons. It is absolutely broken in those situations where its strengths can be applied to thier fullest. TTK of less than two seconds isnt justifiable on primary weapons. Not because its not fun to use, but because its very not fun to have used against you.
You might like to imagine that it is your skill and not the gun. The fantasy of that is attractive... But if it were true then those players wouldn't clearly gravitate towards using them... Hell all players wouldn't. It's flat out easier to get kills with those guns, another gun being equally broken doesn't change or justify that.
It's all a sad story for me... Because I have had a chance to get into fire fights with legendary hand canon users while using them. It's a GREAT meta... The dance is great, pacing perfect, and leaves you smiling when you lose. Because you know that you made a mistake. Against Thorn or TLW (xbox) you NEVER smile... in fact even after months of the meta I still stop and say that shit is broken... Every single time.
If the nerf for handcannons for a whole is what brings those exotic ones in line then it looks like it will RUIN the rest of them... Which is beyond retarded because they are perfect as is...
