The shipping costs around the EU are the same as the shipping costs round the USA - and have already been factored into the cost of the US price.
I am referring to the Physical edition here - there are no shipping costs on a digital download.

I was just assuming that there would be costs of shipping from the U.S. to other countries, since bungie was founded in America and that's most likely where the games were produced. It's my fault for making an assumption like that

No, games are not manufactured in the US and shipped all round the world - the code will be sent to the regional offices (in this case The Netherlands) and manufactured using local replicators.

Well that makes Activision even worse, I'm not sure why America gets this special treatment in prices, all of the prices should be equal no matter where you are.
